Insulated Luxury Vinyl Tiling Installation

The Client

Our clients were homeowners who had recently had an extension to their property and were considering new flooring.

The Objective

The homeowner's key concern was that the room may be cold in the winter as they had large bi fold doors fitted, so they wanted a flooring solution which would help to prevent that.

The Result

We recommended fitting an insulation board to the concrete subfloor and then installing electric underfloor heating pads.

We then encapsulated the matting with a flexible levelling screed to form a smooth subfloor.

New next stage was to install the LVT as this was a large space our client had chosen a large LM06 Art select tile with a 3mm grout strip fitted in a brick pattern throughout the kitchen/dining extension and entrance hall.

The adjoining lounge was fitted with an oak planked effect Karndean from the Da Vinci range.
